We take pride in running our small hotel and our friendly staff. Michael, the owner, who also doubles as the caretaker, the cook, the driver, the life of the party, etc., is always cheerful.
He enjoys himself with the guests and always has a good story up his sleeve - and as we say in Stavanger, "laughter can make you live longer".
He's born and bred in Stavanger, and knows the place like the inside of his pocket. Michael is ready to share with his guests what he knows about the town, its history and the surrounding places of interest. On their arrival he gives all his guests a map of Stavanger with suggestions of what to see. Late arrivals get their maps after breakfast. He likes to sum it up by saying "I put every effort in to trying to ensure that my guests have a really enjoyable stay in Stavanger and at my hotel".
Complementary parking, central location, five minutes walk to the bus and train stations, the Express "Hurtigbåt" Terminal for departures to and from Haugesund and Bergen, and the ferry to take you to Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen).
Eight minutes to the Cathedral, Town Square, Tourist Information Office and 10 minutes to the Emigrant Exhibition Center (Utvandrersentret).
